Representing Acceligen, I was connecting with collaborators and experts in policy and communication at the Africa Biennial Biosciences Communication (ABBC 2023) Symposium. The theme of this important event – “Evolution of Genetic Improvement Tools in Agriculture: Is communication matching up?” has addressed key issues facing developers, policymakers, and investors bringing genetic products – improved with new breeding tools – to the continent of Africa.
